YouTube Sponsor Skip is a Premium feature that automatically skips sponsored segments inside YouTube videos, so you spend less time on mid-video ad reads.
Where to find it
Open the AdBlock360 app and go to Settings → YouTube Sponsor Skip. If you're on the Basic plan, you'll see an Unlock all features button — see Plans Overview to upgrade.
Default state. YouTube Sponsor Skip is enabled by default when you have Premium or are on a trial — you don't have to switch it on. You only need this page if you want to change one of its sub-options or turn the feature off.
Options
The page offers these toggles. The first one is the master switch — if you turn it off, the other three become disabled and greyed out, with the tooltip "To manage disabled elements, you need to activate 'Enable YouTube Sponsor Skip'":
- Enable YouTube Sponsor Skip — Automatically skip sponsor segments in YouTube videos to improve your viewing experience.
- Show countdown before skip — Display a small countdown when a sponsor segment is about to start.
- Show overlay after skip — Show an overlay after a sponsor segment is skipped. Includes options to revert the skip or hide this message permanently.
- Mark timeline segments — Visual indicators on the timeline where sponsor segments have been skipped.
Good to know
- Sponsor Skip works inside YouTube videos in your browser; the AdBlock360 app must be running.
- This is one of the two Premium features. The other is App Ad Blocking.
