App Ad Blocking is a Premium feature that blocks ads inside installed Windows applications — not just in your browsers.
Where to find it
Open the AdBlock360 app and go to Settings → App Ad Blocking. On the Basic plan you'll see an Unlock all features button — see Plans Overview to upgrade. With Premium or on a trial, App Ad Blocking is on by default and installed apps are checked automatically — you don't have to enable anything.
Which apps does it cover?
App Ad Blocking applies to a curated list of supported Windows apps, maintained by AdBlock360 and updated over the air — it is not "any app". Currently supported apps include Spotify, Medal.tv, Viber, TradingView Desktop, BlueStacks, and Overwolf apps such as Porofessor, Tracker, and Outplayed. If an app you care about isn't covered yet, let us know. To see exactly which apps are supported on your PC and which are detected as installed, open the Application list sub-page (below).
Settings and the Application list
The main App Ad Blocking screen has:
- Enable App Ad Blocking — the master toggle ("Blocks ads in all supported applications"). When it's off, blocking is disabled for every desktop app.
- Application list — opens a sub-page where you manage individual apps.
On the List of applications sub-page:
- Apps are split into Installed and Not installed sections. Each installed app has a checkbox (checked = filtering enabled); installed apps are checked by default.
- Changes take effect only after you click Apply (top right).
- The refresh icon next to Apply re-scans your installed apps; while it scans you'll see "Please wait, scanning apps...".
- If you leave the page with unsaved changes, an Unsaved changes dialog appears — "If you leave this page, your current list will not be saved. Are you sure you want to leave?" — with Cancel (stay) / Leave (discard).
While you're on a Trial, the page shows a non-dismissible "Access to Premium features" label — it's informational and disappears when you upgrade.
Good to know
- App Ad Blocking only works while the AdBlock360 app is running.
- It complements the standard browser ad blocking that the Basic plan already provides.
- This is one of the two Premium features. The other is YouTube Sponsor Skip.
