This article explains how to turn off AdBlocking for a specific website when you want to allow ads there, and how to re-enable it later.
When Should You Disable AdBlocking?
There are situations where you may want to allow ads on a particular site:
- Supporting content creators: Many websites (YouTube channels, blogs, news sites) rely on ad revenue. Whitelisting them lets you support their work.
- Sites that require ads to function: Some websites detect ad blockers and refuse to show content unless AdBlocking is disabled.
- Online banking or financial sites: Occasionally, AdBlocking can interfere with certain banking or payment flows. Disabling it for those specific sites resolves this.
Disabling AdBlocking for a website only affects that website — all other sites remain protected.
Method 1: Using the AdBlock360 Manager (Recommended)
This is the quickest way to disable AdBlocking for the website you are currently viewing. The in-page Manager icon appears in Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Opera (while AdBlocking is on).
- Open the website in your browser where you want to allow ads.
- Click the AdBlock360 icon that the Manager places on the page. (If you use the Chrome Browser Assistant, you can click its toolbar icon instead.)
- In the popup, turn the "Block ads on this website" toggle off.
- The page will automatically reload to apply the change. Ads will now load on that site.
The site is now added to your Whitelisted Domains. AdBlock360 will remember this setting — you don't need to repeat it every visit.
Why the toggle might be greyed out on some sites. On a few websites the "Block ads on this website" toggle appears disabled (not clickable). This happens when AdBlock360's built-in rules or a custom filter already mark that domain as one where ad blocking isn't possible. Hover the disabled-state icon for the in-product explanation.
Method 2: Adding the URL Manually via App Settings
If you prefer to manage your whitelist directly in the app:
- Click the AdBlock360 icon in the Windows system tray (bottom-right corner of the taskbar).
- Open Settings.
- Go to Whitelisted Domains.
- Type the website address into the field — the placeholder is "Domain" and the help text reads "Enter a domain or subdomain, e.g., example.com or mail.example.com".
- Click Add domain.
The toast "Domain added to whitelist successfully" appears and the domain shows up in the Added domains list. AdBlocking will be disabled for it on your next visit (or after a page reload).
Tip: You can enter just the domain (
example.com) to whitelist the entire site, or a more specific URL to whitelist only a particular page.
Re-Enabling AdBlocking for a Website
To start blocking ads on a whitelisted site again:
Via the AdBlock360 Manager:
- Go to the website in your browser.
- Click the in-page AdBlock360 icon (or the Chrome Browser Assistant icon).
- Turn the "Block ads on this website" toggle back on for this site.
- The page reloads and AdBlocking is active again.
Via App Settings:
- Open Settings → Whitelisted Domains.
- Find the website in the Added domains list.
- Click the trash icon next to it — you'll see the toast "Domain removed from whitelist successfully".
- Reload the page in your browser.
Viewing All Whitelisted Domains
To see a full list of sites where AdBlocking is currently disabled:
- Click the AdBlock360 system tray icon.
- Open Settings → Whitelisted Domains.
All whitelisted domains are listed under Added domains. You can add or remove entries at any time.
