This article explains how to remove a device from your AdBlock360 license so you can use that slot on another device.
When would I need to deactivate a device?
- You have a new PC and want to transfer your license to it.
- You have reached your device limit and need to free up a slot.
- You are retiring or selling an old computer.
How to remove a device
- Sign in at account.adblock360.com/login.
- Open Devices in the sidebar — you'll see all devices currently linked to your license, with the counter Devices n/3.
- Find the device you want to remove and click Remove device next to it.
- In the confirmation dialog — "Are you sure you want to remove {device name} device from list?" — click Remove to confirm or Cancel to back out.
- On success you'll see: "The device {device name} has been successfully removed".
The slot is freed immediately and becomes available for another computer.
What happens on the removed device
On the removed device, AdBlock360 keeps running and continues to block ads at the system level — it just moves to the Basic plan, so the two Premium features (YouTube Sponsor Skip and App Ad Blocking) become unavailable. The device discovers the change on its next sync with the license server (typically within a few minutes).
Setting up AdBlock360 on your new device
After deactivating the old device:
- Install AdBlock360 on your new Windows PC.
- Open the app and enter your license key, or sign in to your account within the app to apply your license automatically.
- Your license will be activated on the new device.
See Entering & Activating Your License Key if you need help with this step.
