This article explains how to find your AdBlock360 license key and activate it on your device.
Where to find your license key
After purchasing AdBlock360, you will receive a confirmation email containing your license key. The key is a sequence of letters and numbers, typically formatted in groups separated by hyphens (for example: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX).
If you cannot find the email, check your spam or junk folder. You can also sign in at account.adblock360.com/login and copy your key from the Home page of the portal — it's shown in the subscription section with a Copy license key button.
How to activate your license
There are three ways to activate, depending on how you bought AdBlock360.
Option A — Magic Link from your purchase email (easiest)
After your purchase, the confirmation email contains an activation link that starts with adblock360://. If AdBlock360 is already installed, just click that link: the app opens automatically, reads your license key, and activates Premium without any typing.
If nothing happens when you click the link (for example, the app isn't installed yet, or your system didn't register the link), install AdBlock360 first and then use Option B or C below to enter the key manually.
Option B — Sign in inside the AdBlock360 app
- Open the AdBlock360 app.
- Click Sign In in the top-right corner of the window.
- Authenticate in the browser window that opens, then accept the prompt to return to the app.
Your license is applied automatically once the device syncs.
Option C — Enter the license key in Settings → License
- Open the AdBlock360 app on your Windows PC.
- Go to Settings → License.
- Paste or type your license key into the field and click Activate.
The app will confirm activation and begin protecting your device immediately.
Recovering from a "Verification Required" dialog (rare)
This dialog appears only if the app could not re-establish its secure connection to our servers — for example after a network outage, a server-side key rotation while you were offline, or a problem with the local key store. It's an error-recovery dialog, not a normal part of activation.
If you see it, you can either:
- Click Sign In to log in via your browser, or
- Type your license key into the
XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXfield and click Apply license key.
If you close the dialog (X), the app moves to the Basic plan and the dialog won't appear again on this device. You can still authenticate at any time afterwards via the in-app Sign In button or Settings → License.
After activation
Once activated, you will see your license status in the app and in the account portal. The number of devices currently using your license is shown under Devices in the portal sidebar. For more on your license device limit, see How Many Devices Can I Use?.
License key is invalid or already in use?

Double-check the key for typos. Avoid confusing similar-looking characters such as
0(zero) andO(letter O), or1(one) andl(lowercase L). - Already used on another account: A license key can only be linked to one account. If you believe this is an error, contact our support team.
- Key not recognised: Make sure you are entering the complete key including all character groups. If the problem persists, contact support with your purchase confirmation details.
